COMPLAINT BY SHIPPERS. Dy Telegraph—Pros? Assoclatlon-Copsrteht. (Rec. March 11, 1.5 a.m.) Brisbane, March 13. A deputation of butter manufacturers and shippers to-day asked the Prime Minister, Mr. Fisher, to remove tho extremely severe penalties for short weight. They stated that butter was sold in London by tho weight delivered. Mr. Fisher kated that the Department's desire was to. assist and protect honest traders, and not to embarrass them. Ho would submit the representations made by tho deputation to the Minister for Customs.
