OVERTURNED.
TWO COACH ACCIDENTS. > ,JBy Telecraph-J't-cß* Association.) I in it(i«i.H» QKlJot'fle;/'March 13. Two coach accidents occurred this, morning. . As the Gisborne-Morere-Wairoa coach was proceeding down the Kopua Hill between Muriwai and Wharerata, the pole broke. Although the driver kept his horses well under control the coach could not l>e stored, and it overturned, five passengers and the driver being thrown heavily. Miss Ron", the only lady passenger, had he; arm broken. The other travellers ami the driver escaped with a severe bruising. The second accident happened to the Tolaga Bay coach on the Beach Road at Waihou. Tho vehicle capsized on some rocks imd the passengers, their baggage, and the mails were precipitated into the water. Fortunately all escaped serious injury, but tho mails wero considerably damaged by water.
