During the past four weeks addresses have been delivered by Mr. H. N. Holmes, the general secretary of the Y.M.C.A., on "Temptation." The topic on Sunday afternoon last was "The .Secret of Victory." In the''course of the address the speaker said Ihn best' always has predominance. To the man who desired to b<! victorious over sin it was necessary for him to quit anything in the nature of sin. There is nothing that causes n iron to l>e defeated easier than to have fear of the tempter, but Satan cannot work in an atmosphere of Irust in God. A (jood number remained lo the stransers' tea. A short address was delivered at this gathering.
