MEDICAL STUDENTS ARRESTED.

Revelations made by Mukhcrji, tho Bengali youth, who threw tho bomb at' a motor-cnr containing, Mr. Cowley, a Publio Works Engineer, who saved himself by deftly catching tho dangerous missilo, led to a polico raid. A group at the National Mcdical College was arrosted. , Norendranath Bannerji, a tutor, is to be charged with, attempted niurdor. Mukherji's bomb is of scientific workmanship and highly dangerous. NEWSPAPERS IN VERNACULAR. (Rec. March 8, 11 p.m.) London, March 8. ' In the House of Commons Mr. Montagu, Under-Secretary for India, stated that ths Government of Bengal had arranged with the "Times of India" to publish a weekly edition in the vernacular. Tho Government was subscribing for twenty-five thousand copies for tho purposo of counteracting Anti-British propaganda. ' A similar schemo had bean adopted- ill Eastern Bengal.
