London, March 8. The "Daily Express" states that hundreds of the families of the 12,000 Welsh miuers on strike in Mid-Rhoudda aro on tho vcrgo of starvation. Women and children arc often seen fainting in the streets from hunger. Tho colliers aro receiving ten shillings weekly from tho Miners' Federation, but its funds are rapidly dwindling. The tradesmen in tho district are on tho verge of ruin, and are refusing tho strikers further credit. AN OPPORTUNITY FOR AMERICA. (Roc. March 8, 9.55 p.m.) London, March 8. Owing to tho colliery troubles in South Wales the American collieries nro exporting 350,000 tons of ooal to Havre and Italy. The returning vessels are to call at Spain for iron ore. Somo ooal from the Westphalian mines has reached the Thames.
