IRISH CONCERT.

Ireland's sons this year are determined to try to eclipse all past efforts for tho worthy celebration of St, Patrick's Day. The Town Hall has been secured for a grand Irish National Concert, for which tho committee havo secured the services of Mr. W. Farquhar Young, of Christchurch, who is always at his best in singing Irish songs. Another notable change from previous year's programmes is the rendition of Irish airs for tho first time in Wellington by an Irish organist on tho grand organ, which has been specially engaged by tho committee. Mr. John Sidford, a pupil of tho late Sir Robert Stewart, Dublin, being tho organist in question. Others to appear will be Miss Agnes Scurief, Mis? Teresa M'Enroe, Mr. Charles Hickmott, Mr. John Parker, and the Marist Bros, scholars. Seats may he reserved at the Dresden after Monday next.
