RIVERS IN FLOOD. (By TclcirrnDh-l'i'osK Association.! Wairoa, March 8. There have been southerly winds, with incessant rain from Thursday till Sunday night last. The rivers aro all in heavy flood. The damage to the roads is not so great as was expected. Tluw are two heiivv slips on the Wairoa-Wailcari-Napier Road*. It will bo km days before complete through conch traffic can bo restored. Tho rainfall for the period totalled fi.32 inches.
