THE PROPOSED SURVEY. [By TelccraDn.-BDoclal corrosDonJcnl.l Auckland, March 6. Ashed yesterday whether Cabinet had come to any definite decision regarding the proposed survey of the New Zealand coast, the Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister for Marine, replied that the Terra Nova, after her return from tho Antarctic, and prior to, her leaving again for the icefields, would survey somo of the doubtful points on the coast, and fix their truo positions. "Tho Terra Nova," he said, "has on board men fully qualified for tho. task. As regards the more extensive work, tho complete survey of the coast, that is a matter upon which tho Prime Minister will interview the Admiralty when ho reaches England. It will cost a big sum of money if it is to be done."
