WOOLLEN AND GRAIN STOREMEN'S DISPUTE. Tho dispute between tho Wellington Woollen and Grain Storemen's Industrial Union and tho employers caino- before Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, yesterday, and after a prolonged conference between tho parties, an agreement by consent was arrived at. As regards tho matter of wagos, tho following rates vrero decided upon:—Ordinary storemen, Is. l|d. per hour, with Is. 3d. for those employed on manure tho overtimo rates being Is. Gd. and Is. 7Jd. respectively. Head storemen are to bo exempted from tho operation of tin award, and" other storemen arc to get £2 10s. per week. Tho matter was to havo como before tho Arbitration Court this morning, but now Iho Court will merely bo asked by tho representatives of both parties to make an award on tho basis of tho agreement arrived at.
