BIBLE TERCENTENARY.

The Rev. F. H. Spencer has been visiting Christcliurch, Wellington, and Auckland seeing tho leading ministers with regard to celebrating the Tercentenary of the issue of the Authorised Version, and ho has met with much encouragement, all expressing their intention of making a worthy celebration. The proposed date for the Sunday, April 30, has been approved of by all ho has spoken to, and so all ministers are/invited to preach on the subject on that date. Bishop Julius has consented to take the initiative in Christcliurch; in Wellington Bishop Wallis and Dr. Gibb, and in Auckland Archdeacon Colder and the Rev. G. Bond will forward the celebration. The British and Foreign Bible. Society does not wish the celebration to be considered as related to the society, but to be on the widest lines possible,' hence the auxiliaries of the society will not as such take any action. v
