MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Only two cases were dealt with at tho Magistrate's Court on' Saturday morning. John M'Eachern, charged with drunkenness, was fined 205., in default seven days' imprisonment. Arthur Haives pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening behaviour in Jervois Quay, thereby causing a breach of the peace. He was fined 405., with the alternative of spending seven days in gaol.
