TWO MEN AND A SHOT-GUN. (By Telegraph-Press Association.! Hamilton, March 1. At tho Supremo Court to-day, beforo Mr. Justico Edwards, Gedrgo Washington Long, a farmer, of Te Awamutu, was charged with discharging a shot-gun at Thomas Frederick Bond, with intent to do grievous bodily harm. After hearing the evidence o'f both sides, his Honour fa id were ho in tho jury's place he would acquit the prisoner. The jury returned a verdict of "Not guilty," without leaving the bos. _ Long .was surrounded by friends and neighbours on stepping from the dock, and warmly congratulated.
