KARORI AFFAIRS.

The fortnightly meetins of' the Karori Borough Council was held at the Council Chambers, Karori, last evening, the Mayor (Mr. C. I. Dasent) being in the chair. Others present were. Councillors Cathie, Raine, Spiers, Wal'mslcy, Standen, Welling, Hildreth, and Burn. The Karori Amateur Athletic Club were, given permission to use tho Recreation Ground on March 1 and March 8. The. engineer's report stated that all tramway extension work (with the exception of tarring) had ceased owing to tho non-delivery of sleepers.
