Lady Wolverhampton has died at her residence, Woodthornc, Wolverhampton. She was the daughter of the lato Mr. G. 13. Thorneycroft, o£ Wolverhampton, ami married Lord Wolverhampton, formerly Sir Henrv Fowler, in 1857. Lord anil Lady Wolverhampton iveio the recipients of many congratulations upon tho celebration of their golden wedding, a littlo over threo years ago. Her ladyship hn-l tlireo children, of whom tho eldest is tho woll-known authoress, Ellen Thorncyeroft Fowler. This year the eighteenth annual meeting of the New Zealand Church Allssionary Association is lo bo held in Wcitlngton in tho Sydney Street Schoolroom on Monday evening next. Tho speakers aro Miss A. L. Wilson, who went out as a C.M.A. worker to Nigeria in 1801; tho Rev. J. R. Burgin, from Uausalandj and tlio Itov. O. J. Kimberley, organising secretary. Tho Anglican Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Wallls) will bo chairman of the meeting, which is oven to the public,
