WELLINGTON SHAKE MARKET. Yesterday attention was to a largo extent concentrated on the Thames mines, some favourable developments having, it was reported, taken place in tho deep level. May Queen?, which wero very dull tho day before, had a sharp rise, and Saxons and Kuranui-Caledonianu ivero also firmer. Most other shares were steady, but Talismans wero slightly weaker. Tho transactions recorded wero' as under:— Kuranni Caledonian, Is. 2d. (first call). May Qucon, 2s. (second call), 2s. 2d., 2s. 3d. (third call). Saxon. 2s. Id., 2s. 2d„ 2s. 3d. (first call), 2s. 2d.
