BANQUET TO VISITING DELEGATES. Lost ovening the hall of the Britannia Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., presented a festive scene, the occasion being a complimentary dinner tendered to the visiting delegates of tho Wellington district, who have come to attend the Manchester Unity Conference, which commences its sitting at 8 a.m. to-day. About 100 guests were present, including representatives from other orders in the city. His Warship the Mayor (Mr. T. M. Wilford. M.P.), occupied the chair, and, after the toast of the King had been honoured, ho propose:! tho toast of tho ".Manchester Unity," which was responded to by Bro. ,1, Kershaw, corresponding secretary for New Zealand. Other toasts were:—"Wellington District," .'proposed by Mr. T. Salck and responded to by Bro. G. 11. H. Hale, G.M.; "Tho Mayor and City Council," proposed by Bro, G.. Read and responded to by the Mayor and Councillor J. Smith; "Kindred Societies," proposal by Bro. G.. Osborne, secretary of the Britannia Lodge, and responded to by tho representatives of other lodges who wero present. During the evening a lengthy procrnmmc of music nnd songs was given bv "the following:—Messrs. Burrows. J. Kenny, E. Kershaw, E. Read, and J. Perrin. '
