Tho amendment was not seconded, and the original motion was put and carried. AN OCEAN RACE. A proposal to hold an ocean raco for bona fide cruisers' over a course from Wellington to Port Underwood nnd back is 'being considered by tho committee of tho P.N.Y.C. The suggestion ,is that tho raco should bo held early next month, and there appears to be every indication at present that satisfactory entries Will bo received. Mr. A. H. Holmes, secretary of tho club, who it leaving for Port Underwood in Messrs. Petherick Bros.' Kotiri to-day, will tako the opportunity of studying the possibilities of tho courso for such a race as tho ono proposed.
