Harding gave notice by letter of his ability to represent tho centre'"at the Ncw'.Zcaland Championship meeting.. Referring to the case of alleged "ringing in," reported at tho last meeting and referred to the Auckland Centre, notification was received that tho matter would bo. considered at a special meeting of the Auckland Ceutro to bo held next Tuesday. Permission to hold an evening meeting on February ft was'granted to tho Civil Service Club. The Ptlono Junior Club wcro given a permit to hold a meeting ! on March i, and the Manawatu Club a meeting on March 8. r •The Woodvillo Club requested pertnis- . sion to hold sports on March 13, but | as the Marlon Club had previously been granted this date, the request was referred back to tho AYoodvilco Club to ask if another date could be arranged. A letter from the Canterbury Centro stated that the dalo of tho New 'Zealand Championship meeting had boon ' altered from March i to March 18. The conference' of centres will bo held on tho morning of March 18. Tho centra asked that remits and suggestions he forwarded without delay. G. Hall's application for reinstatement was referred to in a letter from tho Wairarnpa Club, which urged that tho matter be further considered. It was decided to forward tho application on to the New Zealand Centre. In connection with the Australasian championships next season, it was resolved that the centre apply for tho conduct uf the meeting, which would bo held at Athletic Park in January, 1912. It was decided to (-end to every club affiliated, to tho eentro a copy of the New Zealand Council's recommendation in regard tn liming of races. ' Mr. W. 11. Pollock moved that it bo a recommendation to tho New Zealand Council that, in the judging of races, tho judges stand at least n yard away from tho nearest competitor.
