Lord Crewe (Leader of the House) said tho Declaration .would be "'discussed at the Imperial .Conference, "and Parliament would have an opportunity .to. discuss it before its ratification. He had unbounded faith in tho loyalty of Canada, which would do nothing to weaken the. ties. Ho added that the'paynient of members and Osborno .judgment questions would be considered this session. ; PRIVILEGE, TWO MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION London, February 7. With the consent of the Primo Minister (Mr. Asquith), }the House of Commons rcforrcd to tho Committee on Privileges tho matters of Lord Roden's action in voting at tho Dowusouth (Ireland)' election, and Lord Aberdeen's sending of a messago to Mr. 'J. Henderson, a Parliamentary candidate. [The Earl of Aberdeen, Lord-Lieutenant ot Irelarid, in a letter to Mr. Henderson, stated:—"After a continuous residenco in Ireland for years, watching affairs, and meeting people of every class and creed, I am profoundly' impressed . concerning the absolute baselessness of the alarm about tho consequences of Home, Rule."]
