GRIEVANCES DISCUSSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association Copyright) (Rec.' February G, 0.45 a.m.) Sydney, February 5. . A mass meeting of postal employees convened by the Council of Federal Public Associations' fliscussed their - grievances. The speakers asserted that recent statements that a grave crisis was about to occur had been exaggerated. Tho Postal Department was not endeavouring to foment ! a strike. Tho object of tho meeting was to link up the associations in the various States with a view of obtaining a governing body which could speak for tho' public servico as a whole. The Post'master-Gcneral would not bo permitted to put them off with mero promises in tho future. Resolutions were carried approving of tho adoption of the Royal Commission's report' by the Federal Government as a basis of reorganisation of the Postal and Telegraph Department. A deputation was appointed to interview the Postmaster-General.
