Olv TelceraDh—Special Conv-spondent.l Masterton, February 3. In a bowling match yesterday for tlie Eootli Cup two teams from the Masterton Club defeated Featherston teams by nine points'. A miniature target range lias been installed at the Masterton School, and will be opened as soon as it is approved by the Commandant of the Cadet Forces. ' Two well-known local Natives, in the persons of Rehi Paku and his wife, died somewhat suddenly at Pnhiatua this week. A big tangi is being arranged to bo held at Masterton pa. The Masterton- infantry corps went into camp at the old showgrounds tonight.
