A LICENSING BILL. By Telegraph—Press Association—CopyrightForth, February 3. Tlio Stato Assembly rejected the Council's amendment in the Licensing Bill, providing for tho abolition of barmaids, and reduced the teil miles limit for bona fide travellers to five miles. Tho Assembly also decided to insist on the conscience restriction of compulsory vaccination in the Health Bill.
FEDERAL PARLIAMENT. Melbourne, February 3. (The Federal Parliament lias been prorogued till March 21. MEMBERS' SALARIES INCREASED. (Rec. February 3, 5.55 p.m.) Perth, February 3. Tho Assembly has passed a Bill raising members' salaries from £200 to £300, the Loader of tho Opposition to reccivo £500.
