The Bishop of Down (Dr. Crozier) has succeeded Dr. Alexander as Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland. Tho Right Rev. John B. Crozier, Bishop of Down, Connor, and Dromore (Church of Ireland) was born in .1853 and educatedat Trinity College, Dublin. He was:ordained ill 1576. Ho was curate of St. Stephen's,' Belfast,//from lS7(i-77.; vicar ? .6fj. Holy wood, County Down," 1880-87; treasurer of Down' Cathedral, 1890-07; Canon of St. Patrick's and Prebendary of Wick-low,'lß96-97; Bishop of Assory, Ferns, and leiehlin, 1R97-1907. He was translated to Down in 101*7. In his younger days !;e was a keen Rugby footballer and an excellent horseman.
