A peculiar position has arisen in regard to the composition of the V'airarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. Tho Act requires that an election of n:t-m----bers shall bo held at the unnii.il election of contributing bodies. . Soiuo. of the members represent, borough councils, others town boards, and tho rest county councils. Tho borough elections tako place in April, the county elections in November, and the town board elections at other periods. Some.members confoquently bold office for two years, nnd others for three years-, while tho elections tako place at different'.periods. :The position is decidedly interesting.; .
