, A DEFINITE STATEMENT. In connection with the £100 bonus which Cabinet has authorised to bo paid to Captain K. J. S. Seddon, Staff Officer to the Adjutant and Quartermaster-Gen-eral, a rumour concerning which was published in The Dominion last week, it is now stated that the payment in question was recommended by the Commandant in respect of services rendered by Captain Seddon when acting as adjutant and quartermaster-general during tho interval between tho departure of Colonel H. D. Tuson for England, and the subsequent appointment of Colonel A. W, Robin, C.8., to that position.
