A delightful picnic was held at fcolway show grounds to-day, under the auspices of the Masterton A. and P. Association. Nearly two thousand- people -were present, and the function proved an unqualified success. Addresses were driven by Messrs, A. W. Hogg, .JI.P., -ty"; Perry (president of tho association); the Mayor (Mr. Coradine), aud Mr. J as. M'Gregor. The grounds aro now practically ready for the opening of the show, which is to be hold next month.
