LODGE MEETING.

The weekly meeting of the Pioneer Lod?o No. 11,' 1.0. G.T., was held in tho Rcchnbito' Chambers, Manners Street', on Monday evening, Bro. Robert Reid, P.C.T.,. presiding over u good attendance. One candidate was initiated and olio proposed. After some discussion it was decided to hold a sale o£ gifts some time in April for the benefit of the Grand Lodge Aggressive Fund. Invitations were received from Star of Wellington Lodge to visit them on . January 19, also from tlio Hope of Petone Lodge to join them in.a picnic to Belmont on January 23. Both were accepted. A favourable report of tho anniversary concert Was produced showing a crcdit balance. Bro. Allan and the committee .were awarded a hearty vote of thanks for . their labour. Greetings were received from Sydney. Eltbaiu, and Blenheim, and rcciprocatcd. A vote of thanks to visitors was carried by acclamation. Next meeting; will bo the annual reunion with sister lodges invited.
