NEWSyAND NOTES. Additional training camp dates have been fixed as follow: —' Napier Guards, Napier' Rifles, Rahfitrly Rifles, Hastings ltifles, and Palmerston North Guards, February 8-15; Patoa Rifles, February 1-8; Woodville Rifles, February 13-20; Taranaki Rifles, February 4-12. Sergeant Couley (Auckland), Corporal Wainhouse (Dunedin), Corporal Bradley (Lyttelton), Corporal Cook (Wellington), have boon appointed acting-divi-sional sergeants-major for the New Zealand Garrison Artillery. Advice has been received by the De 7 fence authorities that the new telephone equipment for the Trentham Rifle Range is on board the Corinthic, due here about February 21 next, in ample time for 4 installation before y tho NewZealand Rifle Championship ' meeting, whicly commences early in March; A detachmcnt of men from H.M.S. Cambrian will go into camp at Trentham from January 21 till February 5, for the annual class-firing course..
