RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE PONGAROA CLUB. , The Pongaroa Rifle Club met at the mounds on Wednesday, to iiro for a "leg-in" for tho'.club ;cun competition. Rifleman F. Brenton secured his first "leg-in" with the splendid scoro of % off the rifle. The' winners to date aro:—"Two legs-in": Messrs. Rattray, A. C. Herbert, and R. Reed. One "leg-in": Messrs. H. R. Robinson. K. R. Poole, T. Boardmari, F. Herbert, H. Hunt, and F. Brenton. The score for the day was as follows:—
•Retired. • On January 22 the Makuri, Horoeka, Weber,'.andyPongaroa Riflo Clubs will have tho'annual-'competition for'the Association Ciin, which was won last year for the first'timo by the Weber Club.
