MAIL SERVICE SUBSIDY. By Tclesraph—Press Association—Copyright London, January 8. The British Government has contracted with the Royal . Mail Steam Packet Company for a fortnightly service with the West. Indies. Trinidad will, contribute an annual subsidy of ,£29,000.. Tho British subsidy is in addition to the existing contract, which costs ,£20,000 a year.
