AN ALFREDTON PRODUCT. According to our travelling correspondent,'there are somo areas of gooa llax about Alfredton (Eketahuna district). ( ''A; largo part of tho district,", he, writes, "is scrub land, and a. feature is' tile large quantity of flax growing on'the hills. • < 7; "I was told this flax is of splendid quality—great length of fibro and-very strong.; In fact, ,it was 6aid that it produces an articlo much more valuable than the ordinary swamp flax. "There is a flaxmill near the township, but it is not running at present."
