NATIONAL SERVICE LEAGUE.
The offices of the National Service /league, to: whoso most valuable work rwe have referred to-day not for the first 'tittle, are at-72 Victoria Street,' Westminster, London, S.W. The immediate; object of the league is to form ia great, body of public opinion in favour fof the two principles stated below;, with view to universal military, training ffor-home defence being made the law -of the land by Act of Parliament. The rtwo principles are: ' 1. That it is the duty of every ablc•todied mail, high or low, rich or poor, Ho defend his country in time of national danger. 2. That to perform this duty efficientmust lie trained in time of peace. There are two. classes of subscribers, at 10s. per annum, associates, at ss. per annum. Both, classes receive (post- free) the "Nation in Arms," the league's able mon'lilr -'ouninl ' Tho subscriptions of ladies, and of Territorials (through their u.C.j ;uo at half-rates, if for membership.
