PAYMENT . TO RECEIVERS. Mr. Justice Cooper yesterday lieard an applieatibn in tho'Blenheim partnership case,, Redwood v. Redwood, concerning remuneration to Dalgety and -Co., as receivers in the 'Redwood Estate. An agreement had been made between the solicitors representing the parties that the receivers should be paid ,Es.'o in satisfaction of all claims. Yesterday Mr. Myers (counsel for plaintiff in the Redwood case), who'on.this occasion represented both plaintiff and defendant, as against tlio receivers, Messrs. Dalgety and Co., stated that an unfortnnato misunderstanding had arisen. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. ■ claimed that in addition to the £mQ agreed upon, they were entitled to retain a sum of .E228 previously charged as brokerage. Mr. Blair, for Dalgety and Co., claimed that when the agreement was made they considered themselves entitled to retain .this brokerage percentage. Ultimately it was agreed that the parties should endeavour to come to nil understanding privately. Failing this, further direction will be sought from the Court 011 Friday next.,
