(By Telegraph.—fined'al Corrcepondeut.) '.' .'■■ i .'':." Bulls,. January 3. Fine. weather \ again prevailed at Bulls for the second; day of the Rangitikei' B.C. Some .difficulty : .was experienced- in -establishing a favourite, in . the -Sandon. Hurdles, .and the:.public supported. four of . the runners for good money. . Waikar.ika. went: off . at a sound pp.ee, but a faulty: jump ; at . tho ;'second fence caused him to lose his position, and The Showman took charge from Waterworks. Down the iback-vWaikaraka again went to tho front, but -Maidi collared him,the second fence from' houie,'and won in the' easiest: of canters.- -The race on the first day :h'ad evidently worked a big improver ment in' the roan more. .'-. '~ There was a good field in the; • Killeymqon Hack' Race, and The Native, despite his 'big.;, load of. .wejght, was the medium of - a big plunge by the investing, public. At the .start Harrington went.very fast, and carried'.the/field off its legs... Across, the bend The Native and The Hover were nearest to'him, but Brown.Trout .was. galloping very freelv behind.. At the iurn' into the. straight the leader collabs'ed, . and The / Rover asserted himself.
