•NELSON AND AVANGANUI. (By Tclcuraph—Press Association.) Wanoanui, December 29. The AVanganui-Nclsou cricket match was continued to-day in unfavourable weather. The wicket showed signs of wearing, and batting was difficult at times. AA'angariui scored 174 (E. H. Cave >14, Luxford 38, H. B. Cave 28, Smith 27, I'aber 12), in their first innings, and, following on, made 138 (Luxford 27, L. P. Cave 81, Howard IS, Atkinson 13), Uu seven wickets. Nelson scored. 30. Tlie game was drawn. Cricketers should not fail to seo the stock of cricket requisites - at Laws and Manning's, Courtenay Place.*
