The Typographical Association Conference resolved that the executive be empowered to open- negotiations with_ the employers with a; view to holding a joint conference to consider a Dominion award. Failing a satisfactory conclusion, the unions will be empowered to apply for district awards, and the executive, will appoint a representative to assist the unions where necessary.
