During November 259.459 head of stock , (including 268,1,10 sheep) • were slaughtered, at the, Sydney ' abattoirs'. Of the number • sent in- 526 were' condemned for various reasons. . At' 27 country and suburban private slaughterhouses 419,928 animals were killed,- 1872 being condemned. ■'
