According to the same authority, the most popular trip is to Kotorua, but the Mount Cook trip was gaining in popularity, and many had been disappointed this Christmas at not being able to make the trip owing to the whole of the accommodation having been bespoken up till January 20. For that reason many holiday-trippers had to change their plans, the majority switching on to the Manapouri aud Te Anau 'Lakes trip. •
