-4 : SCORES GET INTO CANADA. By Telegraph—Press Association-CoßrriEht. Ottawa, December 21. An inquiry into reported Chinese smuggling at Vancouver disclosed the fact that as many as sixty stowaways had been hidden in caverns forward'of the coal bunkers ,on Oriental liners;' A watchman'at Vancouver had been drugged by Chinese in order that stowaways might land. The sailors acted in collusion with the Chinese. The watchman was appointed according to a patronage list kept by the Otta-wa Government
