LODGE MEETINGS.
• —9 The quarterly meeting of the Star of Petonc, Tent No. 2 1.0.0. R., was held in the Central Hall, l'etone, on Tuesday evening. There was a large attendance, and ono new member was admitted. After preliminary and minor matters of business had been attended to the.election of office-bearers for the ensuing term was proceeded with. Tha list is as follows: —C.li., Bro. Wood; D.11., Bro. J. Thompson; secretary, Bro. C. Bell; treasurer, Bro. L. Hey wood ;■ levite, Bro. T. W. Akhurst;. steward, Bra. R. A. Banyren; guardian, Bro. J. Ferguson; auditor, Bro. T. \V« Aklvurst; trustees, Bros. W. Wakeliu, E. Ackroyd, and J. Gordon. Bros< Hejward and Gordon were appointed Tent reporters. The accounts for the evening amounted to £14 7s. 7d. Pioneer Lodge No. 11 1.0. G.T. held its weekly'-meeting on Monday evening in tlie Rechabite Chambers, Manners Street, Bro. Geo. A. Petherick, C.T., presiding over a fair attendance. Mem—, hers of the Sunbeam Juvenile Templewero officially received and supplied tho-: following programme:—Songs by Sistera Carlyle, N. Webb, and D. Noot; recita.tions by Bros. O'Neil and Cooper; dialogue by Sisters R. and M. Townlcv... Congratulatory remarks were passed to;, S.J.W., and then compliments of t-h®-' season extended. Refreshments were; handed round to the juveniles. After tlio departure of tho children one can-., didatc was initiated. Season's greetings' were conveyed to the sister lodges in the district. A voto of thanks to visits ors was carried by acclamation. . Thel lodge will not meet.next.Monday.
