PUTTING THE FINAL POLISH ON. ' (By Telcijrapli.—Special Correspondent.! Wanganul, December 21., : PeaTce had a row over-the full course yesterday, and, though the clocking was not given out, he must have put up good time. Starting off at 30, he settled down to a powerful 28, finally dropping to 26, and finished strong and well. He is in splendid fettle, and is confident of winnmg.' Webb is equally confident, and says that he is as fit as he has ever been. He also did a good spin over the full course yesterday, doing short - sprints afterwards. The men are now putting the final polish on their training, and, after tomorrow, will ease up in their work.
