'A LONDON PROPOSAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, December 16. The Central Markets Committee reported to the: Court of Common Council in favour of submitting plans and estimates for Corporation Cold Stores at Smithfield. The report, which was the result of pressure brought to bear by Now Zealand exporters, was adopted. During the discussion speakers suggested the desirableness of the corporation acquiring private cold stores in the neighbourhood of Smithfield.
