Tho .weather .lias been generally warm and humid, misty arid rainy in most narts of tho country. Westerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed in tho north, ana northerly gales in Otago, but elsewhere the winds have bct-.n variable, though chiefly northerly. The barometer . has been rather low and, unsteady, but little chanee has taken place.' Present indications ar; for changeable and showery weather generally, gloomy and thundery at times in various parts.
