KARORI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

A meeting of the Karori Borough Council was held on Tuesday. There were present: The Mayor' (Sir. . ,C. Dasent), Messrs. Wedde, Cathie, Spiers, Walmsley, Standsn, felling, Hiltlreth, Burn. A deputation of ratepayers presented a petition signed by. over 200 residents asking the .council: to provide .facilities tor •the Gas Company, to ' 'enter the borough and lay down'gas" mains.' The building fees amounted to .£23 10s. The Mayor moved, that a vote of thanks be forwarded to Mr.. T. IT.
