FARMERS' DISTRIBUTING COM- . PANT. The' annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers' Distributing Company was held in Wellington yesterday. Mr. J. G. Wilson presided. Mr; Wilson. moved the adoption of the report and balance-sheet. Ho congratulated the shareholders on the company's condition, which ho said was very satisfactory. He reminded them that in order to cope with the increase of business expected during the'coming season, large additions hud beer, made to the premises. A new feature was the issue of coupons with every account, which coupon would entitle the holder to a rebate at the end of tho year. The fact that the-company had not made any charge for receiving and delivery had been a great saving to the suppliers. The claim against the State Coal Department had been settled, and the company received d£Gso.—The, report and the balance-sheet were adopted. Tho retiring directors (Messrs. J. G. Wilson, James Pearce, and Al. W. Welch) were again elected. No one opposed them. A resolution was made to thank Mr. W. H. Field, M.P., for his services in assisting to bring about a satisfactory settlement of the claim against tho State Coal Department. Subsequently Mr. J. G. Wilson was again, elected chairman of directors.
