' .;,. : An-amendment favoured-an adjournment for'five minutes only. A member said that for the late- King, who stood for everything the workers suffered from, they had adjourned for a fortnight. Ho hoped they were not. going to say that five minutes was long enough for a man who had been prepared to do something for tho uplifting of humanity. The amendment was carried,
