At the inquest concerning tho death oi Thomas Albert Thompson, tramway motorman, who was killed on November 29 while in the act of coupling a car, the jury returned a verdict that deceased met Ms death through one car humping into another, and that Motorman Daws had not exercised duo care in carrying out his duty. Daws was subsequently brought before the Police Court and formally charged with manslaughter,' tho case being adjourned till Friday, and accused released on bail.
