, WELLINGTON CRUISING CLUB. At a general meeting of the'newlyformed Wellington Cruising Yacht Club held recontly, the following officers were elected:—Chairman, Mr. F. W. Petherick; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A.\ Petherick; hon. auditor, Mr. Aubrey- Lancaster; starter, judge, and timekeeper, Mr. N. M'Bride. " The club will hold its official opening on Saturday ;next,'when the yachts will assemblo off tho Queen's Wharf and proceed to Day's Bay. Tho Ngaira will act' as flag ship oil this occasion. Tho first race will take place on Saturday, December 10, all yachts starting -for the event from scratch.-
