[Mr. Sandford has sold his residence iii Nelson Road to Mrs. R. B. Ross.' !The Methodist Hockey Club arc holding a picnic at the Gorge to-day. Their membership is such as to have enabled them to pay all expenses for tho season, and to have a substantial balance, out of which they are providing for the picnic, to which a number of friends are. also being invited. ' The first match of tlio Bowling Club'ssingles was played between Messrs. Nicholas and B. H. Ginger, the former winning by 32 points to 12. _
