Ie addition, Sir Joseph Ward has. promised to lay Dororo the House the resolutions which lie proposes should be moved at tie Imperial Conference. When the House meets - .this morning it will consider Bills. Tho following still remain oa tho Order Paper:— Thermal Springs District Bill. Industrial Conciliaton and Arbitra* tion Amendment Bill (No. 2), Factories Bill.: Government Railways Amendment) Bill (No. 2). ' Tramways Amendment Bill. Coal-mines Amendment Bill (No. 2>< Mining Amendment Bill. ' Waihou and Ohinenrari Rivers Inv provement Bill. Land Settlement Finance Amendment Bill. .' . ; . Law of Libel Amendment'Bill. The Government has signified its intention of going on with all these measures, but it is anticipated that the Tramways Bill, if not dropped, wilt be radically amended. The Legislative Council will meet at 2.30 tliis afternoon, when it will go on with local Bills to be received fromthe.House of Representatives.
